Bob must be the BOX expert.
I thought that you might like to see my work as presented at our
Spring 2016 woodworker's show in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Hi Bob, These look terrific.
You are very good at Marquetry.
Keep up the good work and thanks for the close-ups below.

Below: Bob says, "ambitious copy of a traditional still life
scene.  It is done on a wide piece of cherry veneer

The floor of the box is curly maple.
The moldings are rosewood and oak.
The Fish box is done in Bubinga.
It measures 9 X 7 X 3.75 inches.
The floor is maple.  The moldings are Padouk and oak.
The Lighthouses. Wisconsin's maritime history.
It measures 7-1/4 x 6-1/4 x 3-1/4 inches. Made of Tiger wood,
the floor is paper backed white oak on a hard board.
This photo does not do this box this box justice. This box is perfectly
made and much expertise was used in its construction. It sports
dovetail joints, two different Marquetry pieces, two ornate, perfectly fitted
hinges and the selection of Veneers is excellent. The finish on the box
is remarkable, nicely sanded and varnished. Again Bob many thanks.
